Why MJF works in this sector
A factory floor asks a part to work under continuous load, vibration and temperature swings; PA12 keeps its strength and dimensional stability there. With mold-free production even a single unit is economical, and the spare for a stopped machine is back on the line within days. With no supports involved, integrated channels and conformal surfaces are free to design.
Parts with no CAD file
Spare parts for older machines often come with no technical drawing and no CAD file. We digitise the physical part with 3D scanning, turn it into a manufacturable model through reverse engineering, and redesign it for additive manufacturing (DfAM) where that pays off.
- A digital spare-part archive We scan and model it once, and the file stays with you. No rescanning is needed next time; order again and the same part comes out of the same file. A part whose original supplier has disappeared moves out of your supply chain and into your archive.
